The Love Story of Nekeesha & Kaleb

This story starts off kind of funny - I had organized a Styled Bridal Shoot a few years back and was looking for a model and found the beautiful Nekeesha, and collaborated with my colleague Anglea Moody Makeup Artistry for an MUA. The photographs we captured were some of my favourite from that session. Fast forward to 2023 and then Nekeesha tells me her and Kaleb got engaged while in Mexico and they booked me as their wedding photographer before leaving the resort - I love these two. My heart. They also booked the wonderful Angela Moody for their day as well. It was like our Styled Bridal Shoot again - but even better because it was the real thing now. <3

Nekeesha and Kaleb's vibrant fall wedding in Northern British Columbia was held at Haabanagan Lake Wedding/Event Venue near Fort St. John, BC. The view alone was impeccable, but the two of them stole the show. From getting ready with their closest friends and family, walking down the aisle to the love of her life, to breaking it down on the dance floor, photographing this couple was such a pleasure. Nekeesha's gorgeous, auburn hair and rich-toned florals against the fall foliage was absolutely breathtaking. So much thought went into their day and it shows.
